- Polygon Network, Inc. runs the world’s largest online trading network
for the jewelry industry with tens of thousands of registered users across 94
countries. Primary responsibilities include Unix (Sun Solaris 2.6)
administration on a Sun Ultra 450, Sun SPARCstations 20s, 10s, and 5s, and Axil
Workstations 230s and 245s. Windows NT 4.0 Server administration on Dell 2300s.
Total of 15 Unix workstations, 4 NT Servers, approximately 50 PCs, 3 Power MACs
and a large assortment of peripherals. Administration of Netscape Enterprise,
Fasttrack, and Commerce webservers to host over 400 virtual servers with setup
and troubleshooting of DNS, CGI-BINs, SSL and Digital Certificates, FTP, POP,
SMTP, MS Front Page extensions, Security, Quotas, Log Analysis and Domain Name
Registration and Modification. General duties of troubleshooting all aspects of
the trading network, HTML development, shell scripting, cabling and network

- Worked as a Product Support Engineer to diagnose, document, and resolve
problems or defects with all Hayes Modems, Remote Access Systems and Software
prior to market release. Original job was as a technical support representative
to provide expedient, efficient, and high quality technical troubleshooting and
information via telephone and electronic media to Hayes customers for all Hayes
hardware and software.

- Worked as a contract systems analyst, programmer, and consultant to
select, install, and maintain a LAN and PC based accounting system for the
company. Responsibilities included analyzing alternative systems and
applications to determine which would satisfy the company's needs best. Had
primary responsibility for purchase and installation of the system. Set up
chart of accounts, general journal and ledger, accounts payable and receivable,
as well as multiple management report formats. Also assisted the company on
database projects.
